Another Woot-Off has approached us on this gracious day. Unfortunately, and yes we apologize yet again, WootAgent 2.0 is still not ready for release. The SMS and IM bot should be up and running later today though.
There has been a delay in the development of 2.0 due to finals and what not. We can promise though, by the next woot-off (sometime in the end of June) 2.0 will be ready to go.
Have fun during the Woot-Off and try to capture the Bag of Crap!

Soon, very soon folks. We know the program has been extremely buggy lately and hasn’t been working up to par. Why is this you may ask? Woot! constantly makes changes to their sites code which affects the programs ability to run properly.
So you are probably asking yourself when will 2.0 be released, and what will it include? To be honest, it should have been released a few weeks ago, but due to delays and fixing/patching bugs, we have been put back a few weeks. The goal is to have it out by the beginning of June, hopefully sooner. The application will have a new design, more features, wine.woot integration, and all the current bugs will be patched.
By the way, heres a sneak peek:

We are very excited to have our first paid review ordered up by Apogee Search through ReviewMe. Just from browsing through their site I found some excellent information that truly helped educate me on Search Engines and Search Engine Marketing.
“Since its inception in 2001, Apogee Search has rapidly grown to become one of the 25 largest Search Engine Marketing firms in the world.” While Apogee offers many services that include, paid search, natural search, affiliate marketing, and pay-per-call, they also have an interesting Search Engine Marketing Glossary that breaks down all the terms used in the Search Engine industry.
While many people may know what some of the terms mean, such as PPC and Google Adsense, there is an abundance of terms or jargon that many will not know. For instance, what is the Google Death Penalty? I assure you they are not beheading anyone for cloaking, but merely removing a website permanently from the Google index. There are over 150 terms in the glossary, many of which I personally have never heard of, although I’ve been in the website industry for a few years.
Apogee also offers a Downloads & Resources page that contains many helpful and free sources to educate and get users started on Search Engine Marketing. Some of these sources include: Free Search Engine Marketing Analysis, and Avoid Search Engine Marketing Malpractice. We plan to use some of these resources for WootAgent as it may help us reach a larger audience.
