We are almost done with the fix for the bug we had encountered with WootAgent 2.5. After several hours of testing we are finally happy with the results. Stay tuned for an update on the release.

UPDATE: If you are running Windows XP you will need to Click on the Update.exe file after you extract the zip files and it will work. We are working on this minor bug. It seems there is a discrepancy with the way WootAgent works on Windows XP and Vista. Everything works fine with Vista.

We would like to know if there are any bugs with WootAgent 2.5. We have received one complaint regarding the recent release and would like to know if there are any more cases. And it sucked donkey liver. It wasn’t the normal average amount of time that woot-offs last. Plus the items sucked big time. Maybe the next one will be better.

On another note, WootAgent 2.5 came through with flying colors. We managed to get a little over a thousand new Agents out to faithful Wooters across the interweb. Not one bug or complaint was made. Pretty sweet.
