That’s right! Simplify your Wooting. Within a few seconds (usually
instantly), WootAgent will pop up on your screen to notify you when there is a
new woot item, a woot item is running out, and when a woot item is sold-out.
The same criterion goes for a woot-off.
Customizable sound notifications

Sleeping or busy around the office when woot
presents a new item? Just turn them speakers up and practice your three-yard
dash! Not the biggest fan of the wonderful sounds we have as default?
Don’t worry, now you can get Darude - Sandstorm to play each woot alert.
Maybe a little Thriller to let you know a woot-off has graced our presence.
Interface to die for
Note: We don’t really
recommend dying for the interface. It is really nice though. Tabbed navigation
allows you to look only at the information you care most about.
Today’s Item

The bare essentials you need to get your woot on: A
picture of the item, the product’s name, price, and that lovely little
“I want one!” button.
Description

No little sissy description
previews here. We piled that sauce on, giving you the entire story on
today’s item, including the product features and specifications.
Price Check

Sometimes woot *gasp* doesn’t have the lowest
price. We seek out lower prices on today’s woot using different price
comparison engines such as Froogle and MSN Shopping (more soon to come). Please
note that WootAgent searches these engines based solely on the name woot has
given the item, therefore price comparisons may not be 100% accurate.
Mix-N-Match WootAgent to your liking

We give you a myriad… an array…nay, a plethora of
options to make WootAgent custom-tailored to your needs. Users can disable tabs
and alerts they don’t need, customize WootAgent’s refresh rate and
popup speed, and for those who tend to have slightly worse memory than Stephen
Hawking and might forget to turn WootAgent on - the option to have WootAgent
start up with Windows.
A little system tray lovin’

WootAgent nestles itself in your system tray with a
little green “w!” icon. Right click the icon to access options. If you happen to spot the orange “w!” icon, grab your credit card because a Woot-Off is going on. Lose your
internet connection? The “w!” icon will fade to gray and try to
reconnect and receive information from woot. You can also mouse over the icon
to view a tooltip presentation of today’s item and price.
Track Woot! & Wine.Woot!
WootAgent’s options just keep on growing and growing. Now you can switch between Woot.com and Wine.Woot.com and the application will automatically update showing you the latest item. Woot! has also alerted us to Shirt.Woot which is to debut soon, and you too will be able to track that site all from this program.
What are you waiting for, get your hands on WootAgent now!
